1) How do I get started and digitally publish with the Ultimate Viewer Software?

The publisher simply has to submit PDF’s of the work they would want to have digitally published using the Ultimate Viewer Platform. In the case of telephone directory publishers, often the data base and PDF’s are supplied so the media enriched search engine can also be provided. 2) What is the difference between Ultimate Viewer Software and their viewer/ reader and the competitors?

Ultimate Viewer software allows publishers to offer a multitude of media additions that the reader can choose from linked through a drop down menu that occurs within a highlighted area of the publication. These areas can be display ads, script or any highlighted area within the publication. The result is increased advertising revenue capability by utilizing a multitude of additional media choices for the advertiser delivered through the digital publication using the Ultimate Viewer platform. Product catalogues, TV, audio, flash, web, email, map links are all available through the one highlighted area. The Ultimate Viewer platform also allows auto updating so certain types of publications that can utilize this feature can change their media embedded within the digitally published product without having to renew or re-subscribe or re-download the publication.

5) Does the end user require any specialized computer equipment or programs in order to use the Ultimate Viewer platform?

No, the Ultimate Viewer software platform is a windows based platform. Optimum system requirements are above 800mz with 256 MB of ram if possible with Windows XP and a broadband connection. Must have flash player recommended 7.0 version, windows media player version 6.4 or above, Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or above, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or above. All of these items are fairly standard from Windows 2000 and above. The software does work on Windows 98 second edition and above.

6) What part of the publication can be updated and how does the end user / reader know that there is an update available to download?

Almost everything within the publication can be updated which includes but is not limited to: Tabs, menu items, logos, pages, desktop icons and many more. The program automatically recognizes when there is an update. When the viewer / reader re-opens the publication the auto update will occur.
